Questions

Is the budget data really free?
Yes. The President's Budget is public data published by the DoD Comptroller. DoDPOM's value is the structured analysis, AI intelligence, and workflow tools on top of it — not the raw data itself.
What does the AI budget analyst do?
It answers questions about the defense budget in plain English, grounded in the actual justification documents. Ask things like “Which Army RDT&E programs grew more than 20% in FY27?” and get sourced, structured answers.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. If you move from Pro to Explorer, you keep full data access but lose AI and workflow tools at the end of your billing period.
What counts as a “query” for the AI analyst?
Each question you ask the AI analyst consumes tokens based on the complexity of the question and response. Pro includes roughly 70 queries per day; most users never hit the limit.
